WEDDING POLICY (February 28, 2016):
St. Paul’s United Church welcomes all couples of consenting age and who are legally entitled to be married. We affirm that marriage is a gift of God through which two people make a covenant with one another in the presence of their community and with God. In striving to be an inclusive community, we invite same gender couples to choose St. Paul’s for their marriage ceremony. Couples wishing to marry at St. Paul’s will have the opportunity for marriage preparation sessions with the minister.
Can I have my child baptized at St. Paul's United Church? Can I be baptized?
Yes. Please contact the church office for more information.
Can I make an offering through Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR)?
Yes. We encourage those who would like to contribute financially to St. Paul's United Church to do so through a Pre-Authorized Remittance plan. For those who prefer weekly envelopes, these are available as well. Please contact the church office for more information.
Does St. Paul's rent out its facilities?
Yes. The lower auditorium and Christian Education Building are available to rent. Please contact the church office for more information.
How do I become a member of the United Church?
One becomes a member of The United Church of Canada through a local congregation. Please contact the church for further information.
I am not a United Church member, may I still worship at St. Paul's?
Yes, definitely! We strive to be an open and inclusive community.
Are there Sunday School classes for children?
Yes. Sunday School classes take place every Sunday during the regular worship service.
Is the building wheel-chair accessible?
Yes. There is an elevator located on the west side of the building.
What is the style of worship at St. Paul's?
We are open, welcoming and strive to joyfully celebrate our faith.
